I pay $3 per month to back up 200gb on Amazon.. Your external hard drive won't survive a house fire (touch wood).

true, but it'd cost a pretty penny to upload (and download!) 200gb, plus it's slow. (ADSL only...)
Only small stuff goes online for me...(mostly on dropbox)
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

It took me about a month but now it's up I only need to push incremental updates. I've got 200gb quota so I did it over two months. Easy.

Check out "Fast Glacier" if you are interested.

ye I know,but I got no idea how to,what and where...lol

Do you back up your data?...are you using an external hard drive....iclouds?...hahahaaa tell me Istvan :aussie:
I've simply bought a 2TB external (usb3) HDD, and copied everything over, and keep copying new stuff. (this is mostly documents and photos; eg when I upload my photos from the camera to the pc, I create a backup copy straight away)
I also back by work up to online places, but that's another matter.

This is a very simple (and very cheap) solution, and only one PC is backed up, but it's something. I'll have to get a small file server here soon.
Ok I got an external hard disk,i copied my photos, videos,,,and very important,,,the tracks and cars iracing folder...ehehehehee thank you Ysu!!

And with that external back up, you could take it some where else and upload it, just to get the bulk uploaded then the incremental is small.

It seems most ppl going with ATi cards are grabbing a 78xx or better.... My 7790 runs AC perfectly fine, even with ai.
Single monitor.
So theres a saving right there, you can always upgrade the card later on.

As low as possible. SHMBO, is unlikely to approve unless it's around $500 or less!

Well I have 8GB of DDR3-1600 ram sitting in packaging not doing anything that you are welcome to for nothing. Just need to find a MB capable of supporting (compatibility) it.

ah gents, I've got two Innod3D gtx 570 cards here.

They're both damaged in some way, one was showing signs of a memory problem, the other had problems with the DVI connectors if I remember correctly.
No idea which is which, but if anyone wants to pick them up it's all yours, free of charge. (Chittaway Bay pickup)

( I've got a bunch of other stuff, too, a plastic box is full of them, half I don't even know what :) but you're welcome to browse, there's certainly a couple of memory modules there, too, but I guess most are older stuff )

Buy an i5, great bang for buck I reckon. Mine keeps up fine with the GTX760 I recently bought.
