Original Air slides down the price range which makes it very attractive.
Mini 1 and 2 do the same
32Gb model dropped for 16, 64 and 128 instead.

iOS8.1 out monday
OSX Yosemite out today

and they announced a 27in iMac with a 5120 x 2880 pixel display

That's pretty good progress in 4 years :O

Haha I work for a mobility company now, so I have to use a tablet.. I find the iPad the pick of the bunch

Nothing for me. I'm really waiting for Apple to dramatically improve iOS on the iPads eg: introducing more OS X stuff into iOS (not saying OS X on the iPad).

Regarding taking pics with iPads, I to thought is was silly until a recently read some comments on a news article where several professional types found productivity increases doing just that. Take photo edit on device send to someone, they reply and the iPad user continues their work.

Stupidly I forgot about the company I work for and some field tech guys are basically doing the same stuff. Some have even reverted back from laptop and digital camera to desktop and iPad. Which says something to me when multi-million dollar projects aren't hindered by staff using tablets.

I only heard about this from an IT guy at work who was ranting and raving about it. He reckons there is a $99 difference between the 2 models.

And you're right, there is a struck match between the Webber zealots and Apple.

I'm pretty surprised by the resolution on the iMac. That will take a lot of horsepower to push that many pixels around.
