Hey all,
Just forked out $2500 on some new gear to go racing!. My god this game is very pretty when maxed out!!.
I tried searching the 83 page thread on some info but i'll be here all night. So just a few questions really.
How do I find you guys online?
I noticed when I tried to get online a lot of them had what im guessing were mods on them that obviously I don't have.
Which mods to get? and from where?.
Cheers!
Tim

Re: Just got this!
Mods can be found on the official AC forums or Race Department.
I used the STEAM login feature to access the AC Forum: http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php
As for RD I think you need to register to be able to download but it's free with pop-up's iirc, the direct link to AC downloads is: http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads ... o-corsa.1/
We also have a dedicated AC mod thread here: http://www.arseforums.com/phpBB/viewtop ... 93&t=18878
As Shaun said work backwards as the older mods have either been updated or no longer working.
It's only 16 pages long right now.
As for finding us online, I'd say most of us play offline except for Fri nights at the moment.
FNF info here: http://www.arseforums.com/phpBB/viewtop ... 94&t=19682
The AACL is usually held Wed fortnights but we haven't kicked off the league yet for 2015.
Watch the AACL ~ The Australian Assetto Corsa League Board for details on both the above: http://www.arseforums.com/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=94
So this Fri will be the next time you'll find a gaggle of ARSE's online.

Re: Just got this!
Is there a reason everyone prefers to play offline rather than online like back in the LFS days?.
Also is there a way to bring up what fps you are getting?

Not really sure, I think one reason is that at this stage you can't search or find a particular user or steam friend within AC or any other means.TIMMY30 wrote:Is there a reason everyone prefers to play offline rather than online like back in the LFS days?.
We do have servers running full-time now being the FNF (server name ARSEoff) & AACL Practice servers but I think most of us prefer to test offline unless someone posts what time they'll be online. Trust me FNF is as a blast with between 8-20 of us on any given Fri night, it's also pickup style so no real need to practice & no need to have to turn up at a specific time so it's very flexible.
Yes there is a built in FPS app, albeit a bit large.TIMMY30 wrote:Also is there a way to bring up what fps you are getting?
To get to the apps when you're driving, drag your mouse to the right hand border & a gui will slide in with all the different apps you can activate.
TBH I use FRAPS rather than the built in FPS app.
