Thundercars Mod

Post by Johnny X »

http://rsc.vadertrophy.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=251

Dunno if any of you are interested but there's a new mod (beta) available for GPL. Slicks and wings oval racers with 7 litre V8's. It doesn't use the "downforce" model thats been talked about recently but they are stupidly fast with crap brakes, once you manage to sort out the gearbox.

Requires an update to iGOR which is again a bit of a beta but I had no probs installing after following the notes at the Thundercar Mod site which is linked in the first post.

Check it out :)

Edit: 230 mph approaching Curva Grande :eyepop: ... time to rethink braking points :yikes:

Further Edit: http://www.smithpic.com/tc/index.htm direct link if TempRSC is closed due to leaves on the bandwidth :)

First post here has a nice piccie of the cars... http://www.drivingitalia.net/forum/inde ... =22525&hl=

The mod has been taken off the airwaves as it was only a beta looking for feedback though you may be able to find the required d/loads on the temp RSC forum now. It involves a beta version of Gem+ as well. Havent tried getting CCM to use it yet tho :shake:

I found that stopping is the hard part about this mod. Also the Isle of Man is fun to drive, NOT!
