Lego Worlds is cool. You can build brick by brick and I even found a dragon I could ride/fly around and they have a fire attack! That blows holes in the bricks.
Found a dingy too but yet to find other vehicles such as planes and helicopters.

Re: Mick and other LEGO freaks......
Game was good fun, coming across random stuff while I kept on walking around.
It's got massive potential, so much more unctionality in the engine at first glance.
loved getting the dragon, plane... laughed at the digger, Emu and lawn mower!
Haven't found me a Camel yet though.
I kinda hope there's something inside the oriental buildings, but can't find a way in... might just need to take one out I guess.

There's lot of potential for the game especially with the pre made sets. I can see micro transactions in the future where you buy virtual sets of existing real life products. Then they could lego star wars, lego avengers ect...

Re: Mick and other LEGO freaks......
Sounds like they will go the expansion pack route rather than micro-transactions.

Will there be Micro-Transactions in LEGO Worlds?
There will be no Micro-Transaction in LEGO Worlds. We will also not even begin to consider offering any additional paid content until we have satisfied our community during Early Access.

Been waiting for this one for a while. I was hoping for something bigger but it should at least be well priced.

Great model!
At the end of the video though, did anyone else imagine the bang of the car rolling off the table and breaking? :P
So the question is... do we wait for a 1:18 diecast model, or buy the lego one?

Re: Mick and other LEGO freaks......
Excellent! Have you started building it?
I was very close to buying the new Milenium Falcon... But $250 for the new version with characters I don't understand seemed a bit much. I'd be happy paying that for a classic version. I feel like I wouldn't be the only one that would love a Star Wars 'classics' series.

Re: Mick and other LEGO freaks......
Trouble with a lot of these new lego kits is they basically only make one item. Might as well be a resin build.
When I was a kid..... the lego technic kits had generic parts/bricks and either you had instructions to make something else as well as the headline object or the box had pictures on it of other things you could make with the bits available so you could have fun working it out for yourself. Now they're bespoke parts you can make the millennium falcon or the digger or whatever and that's it. It stays built. In some ways the fun factor of lego has gone.
I had the old 853 kit. You could make a 4 seat car with a 4 cylinder engine and working gearbox. But you had instructions for a 2 seat racer as well and the box had pics of a truck, a dragster, a lathe and a hydraulic platform which you could make with the same kit. I spent hours making the cab myself, working out the bits from the picture. That level of fun seems to have disappeared.

Re: Mick and other LEGO freaks......
You're definitely right. And there are far more custom made parts to make the object look right.
I still find it really theroputic to build something though. There's nothing stopping you from using your imagination to build something from what you're given. But I agree, it was cool when they gave you options of other objects you could build.

Whilst there are a lot of bespoke parts you'll find that there almost always has been.
Check out some Lego blogs to see what is done with these bespoke pieces. I pulled apart most of my sets when I moved house - they were nearly all star wars and technic and you'd be surprised how many parts are common Lego pieces. Alternative instructions are still provided for all technic but they're usually online. Star wars doesn't because of licensing.
