Living in Melbourne
Hypothetically, if I was to move to Melbourne for work, and wanted to buy a place to live, maybe 30 minute train to the city at most, where would I look? Or maybe a better question, what places do I not look.
I say hypothetically as no plans but keeping my options open after taking on a new role. Might benefit to be closer to the action.

East is expensive, North is getting close to East prices, West is cheapest.

But it is West...

Welcome aboard Carl.
I’m not likely to go but was just sussing out housing prices just in case
Where are you living? Why are you here? Still in the fire protection game? Did I even remember that properly?

Yeah all good, Frankland St.
Moved here mainly work, but lifestyle as well, bit bigger than Kyneton.

I thought about buying a house in Kyneton. Nice up that way.

Re: Living in Melbourne
I was actually thinking... 30 mins from the CBD is going to be super pricey no matter where you look. I wish it took me 30 mins to get in here.

Yeah most affordable housing is going to be an hour away.
