The road ahead. Some thoughts.

Post by norbs »

Gents, given the lack of numbers for FNF these days (except for Wreckfest), the brains trust is trying to figure out a way to get people interested again. And we would like some input.

Currently, the only planned night is the final Friday of each month is Wreckfest night. We have taken a swing at RF2 and now R3E, but they dont seem to be gaining traction.

There is also ACC (it really doesnt seem finished to me) and AMS2 to come. Do we bring back AC?

What do people think of running certain games on certain nights? For example.

1st Friday of the Month - R3E
2nd Friday of the Month - RF2
3rd Friday of the Month - AMS2/ACC/PC2/AC
4th Friday of the Month - Wreckfest
5th Friday of the Month (not many of these) - Wreckfest

Are there other games we should consider?

Should we drop FNF all together?

Your input is welcome.

Norbs

I'm personally happy to play AC,wreckfest,RF2 and R3E
think that your idea on what we run on a friday night is good
with the game/track/car combo posted on the ARSE thread mid week before Friday play so people know

not really interested in dropping coin on ACC GT3's arent something that interests this person but will interest others

as for AMS2 my will depend on the take up of this game as to if it get purchased. AMS was a game we purchased but I don't feel that value was ever obtained out of this game

Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

If I see a post, I'll tend to reserve the night for FNF (barring previous engagements). If I don't, then I will dither over whether to watch some TV or a movie with the family, play a game of something or whatever; at that point it's 50/50 at best that I'll join if I see more than 2 people in the Discord channel.

That said, I know that I always enjoy the racing when something starts up.

Time has been a massive issue for me over the last twelve months.... hence very litte showing from me.

I like PCars, AC & Wreakfeast not really interested in investing or setting up new games currently as I bearly get time to use the ones I have!

The LFS night we did a while back was great fun

I'm the same, love Fridays but just struggle to find time. Prefer Wreckfest, Pcars2 and maybe LFS.. Like hutchy I don't have time to set up new games.

I keep meaning to show up, either have too many friday beers and forget or have prior engagements. TBH, if it's LFS I'd show up any day of the week. I have still yet to play a game as easy to pickup and as fun to race around in in my opinion.
