Jesus what a terrible weekend for Aston..

Such a long way from the old Force India Days where they basically grabbed 4th place a few years in a row

Lawrence has done a fantastic job of taking a team that generally punches above their weight and turned them into a bit of a shit show.

Back from another weekend. Was a pretty good event on the ground. The number of people was a bit overwhelming - lines for everything were insane. I reckon they were one support series short of having a full enough undercard too.

But the atmosphere was fantastic. Weather was amazing. New cars look awesome and the Lakeside Drive part is so cool to watch with the speeds cars are going through there (particularly the attitude on the Supercars).

A shame Alonso whinged and got rid of the 4th DRS zone as it removed a key overtaking opportunity into 11. Still the cars were able to follow noticeably closer around my turn (final corner) - gap in a train of cars was often only 0.5 and even if they couldn't actually overtake the following car was close enough to capitalise on any mistakes.

Was also great to catch up with w00dsy and (finally) Stud. Only took 20 years!
