haha, not sure they've worked that out yet. I think Leclerc was first to say he was starting at the back so I guess he'll be 16th.

Re: 2022 FORMULA 1 ROLEX BELGIAN GRAND PRIX
Max and the Red Bull an absolute rocket. I'd actually be surprised if he doesn't win from 15th on the grid with the speed he has. You know Ferrari will balls it up with Sainz and Checo won't be allowed to race Max.

Am I the only one thinking he will bin it with a smash on lap 1 trying to make up places? If he takes his time he can probably just drive past everyone.

Great stuff from Albon there. He's not usually a qualifying monster.
Looks like any hope of a third team joining the fight for the second half has gone. I know it's the nature of the track but 1.8 seconds between Max and Lewis - wow.
The grid is tantalising. It's almost a test of reverse grids
Should be a spicy race.

Re: 2022 FORMULA 1 ROLEX BELGIAN GRAND PRIX
Interesting how they're choosing not to penalise lap 1 incidents. If it was turn 1 or in a pack then I'd understand but they were pretty clear of everyone when Lewis hit him.
Too easy for Max. Will have the championship wrapped up by Singapore at this rate and that's coming from 40 odd points down after three races. I'm not sure even Mercedes had a season this dominant. It's crazy when the Red Bull hasn't even been the fastest car at a decent number of races.

Re: 2022 FORMULA 1 ROLEX BELGIAN GRAND PRIX
Hamilton also got a reprimand for refusing to go to the medical centre as the car's G-meter had been tripped.
Title wrapped up now. Even if Leclerc won the rest and Max trotted round in 2nd he'd still win. Max needs 3 DNFs for Leclerc to even be in with a shout.
But really Ferrari have handed him this on a plate (again). What on earth were they doing at the end there? Brought in Leclerc for a tyre change for fastest lap when they knew it was tight to Alonso. He ended up not getting FL and then got a 5sec penalty for speeding in the pitlane which dropped him back behind Alonso again! And he was only 0.7s off being behind Ocon as well. Also seemed bizarre that they kept asking Leclerc to decide on the next tyres instead of just giving him what they thought was right.
Costly race for McLaren too in the constructors.
