Quiet

Post by Big Kev »

Hellooooooooooooooo?

Is everyone having a Summer/Winter break? :)

UK TV have started showing the Six Million Dollar Man.
Awesome :D I don't think I've seen that since I was about 14. They've started with the 3 part pilot so it's a little slow to stretch it out to an hour and the famous dananananana noise isn't on there so I guess they added that for episode 1 proper when they thought they needed you to know when he was using bionic strength or speed.

It's still cool to watch it again though.

They played it a bit last year, I'd catch it on the weekends.
Probably the only upside of 30 TV channels playing non-stop, a few fun watches slip through now and again.

Not too many of the really old shows age that well. Unless they are true classics like Blackadder
Sarc ; my second favourite type of gasm.

Yeah we watched Blackadder Goes Forth a couple of years ago and it holds up OK. I loved it when I was a kid and I still remember watching that last episode for the first time.

We are watching Justified and slowly working through the Sopranos.

Otherwise, all good here. Footy finals are almost here, Tasmania can’t seem to work as one to get a team of our own and I’m enjoying my latest mx5.

I had a couple of weeks away on a road trip through France and Italy. I managed to sneak in a visit to the old Reims race track which I've wanted to see for years. Really interesting place and I think it's fantastic they preserve it.

We also popped into Monaco as it's another place I've never been. We just drove in and were looking for a car park when I suddenly realised I was on the main straight, so of course we did a lap (as best we could anyway). There's a lot of building work going on there at the moment so with road closures I ended up doing the hairpin in both directions :D

Cool.

Did you do the compulsory Reims picture of your car in front of the pits photographed from the other side of the road?
