 Interesting thread... the difference between me and a bar of soap is not much really, we both taste bitter in the mouth.

Sleep? no longer happens already, and the baby isn't even home yet... I've got it easy though. Gimme and a week or two and then I'll really start to learn what its all about.

The misses certianly had a rough time, but man she has bounced back so strong today.... seeing her today, you wouldn't think she had it rough at all. Shes an amazing women and I can't wait for her to come home :)

Alright, time to return to the hopsital. 12-3 is a no go time, even for dads :( But its good to let mums rest of course :D

Grats dude.. fatherhood is one of the best things that can happen to a man.. it can also be the worst.. (try getting a bit from the missus after she's been up and down with the kid for a day.. other fathers will know what I mean )

First up - Big Congrats Rots and family. Tell her the second one will be a much easier delivery :fall:
It seems like a looong 9 months, then you wonder where the time went.

Welcome to the next 3 years of hell! no 4 years, 6 .... um "friends" tell me you won't sleep until they leave home. They'll keep waking you up for years, then they'll keep you up late, then you'll stay awake waiting for them to get home in one piece.

At least not sleeping means you will get to see her growing up as much as possible... you just will be so tired for most of it you won't remember any of it.

but don't listen to all that - it'll be great

Congrats and glad mom and daughter are doing well. I agree, don't drink the breast milk. Of course, there's nothing wrong with trying to write your name on the wall with it. :)

congrats rots, tis the day your life changed forever. Remember when you were a kid and got that really cool new toy? Having a kid is like that, but this toy never gets boring. by the way Eva is a really good looking baby, i'm tipping everyone says she looks like your spunky wife :D No don't foget to drop into the sleep bank and get some of those extra hours you put away as a teenager, your gonna need em
