The Xtreme Gaming Network to sponsor the Oceanic Racing Team

Post by Montey »

PDF Announcement

The Oceanic Racing Team (ORt), together with the Xtreme Gaming Network (XGN), is proud to announce that XGN is to act as a major sponsor for the ORt. The sponsorship will result in the ORt having access to some of the most powerful, most connected and highest capacity gaming servers in Oceania. Additionally the sponsorship will allow a greater exposure of the XGN's servers and extremely powerful gaming environments. Consequently ORt may now provide the LFS online gaming community with one of the highest quality gaming servers yet opened anywhere in the world.

This agreement sees ORt become one of the few teams world-wide to have a formal sponsor, and XGN become one of the few organisations to sponsor an online gaming team.

From initial discussions started in early January of 2005 it was quickly realised that XGN and ORt are an excellent fit for each other. XGN has a very strong presence in the First Person Shooter gaming genre, but has been looking to spread its wings in to other gaming arenas. ORt is a young team that has grown rapidly to become one of the top three online LFS racing teams in the Oceanic region. Both groups hold strongly to their core values of having fun and being considerate of their fellow competitors. This common approach to gaming means that both groups are working strongly together to better the regions online communities and gaming facilities.

ORt thanks XGN for their kind sponsorship and looks forward to a very long and prosperous partnership. ORt and XGN would like to invite all members of the LFS online gaming community to spend time on the ORt LFS server and XGN's various other gaming servers to experience what true quality online gaming is all about.

New Skins are available from the ORt website.

After just 6 months this had quickly grown into one of Australia’s premier gaming site within the FPS, Delta Force games. XGN's focus has been within the first person shooter genre, but XGN realises the potential that other breeds of games that can be integrated with XGN’s profile and server systems. The Xtreme Gaming Network is committed to its Network Partner program, in forming strategic alliances such as this alliance with ORt.
