go to open a psd file and i get this

"Could not complete your request because it is not a valid photoshop document" :yikes:

and i saved it like 10 mins before hand and it was fine

im trying this but among the confusion im stuck

some advice from the gfx gOOns would be appreciated if uve experienced this problem before

you sure you didn't save it as another format just with a PSD extension? Try backing up a copy of it, then changing the extension to certain types like JPG or GIF to see if it opens.

Grab the update to CS2, its free and will work on "all" verions. That might help
