Yeah the hards were pretty much perfect all the way I gotta say, whereas I could barely get the softs to last 10 laps and mediums weren't that much better for me. I can probably blame my setup for that, the front left got very hot since it was a bit understeery.

I haven't really delved into the setup variations in AC. Last night I was on the default set, but threw on medium tyres for the race. What sort of parameters are you tweaking on the setup?

Wow the default setup for me was the best out of the bunch of cars but I still made some changes, my hotlap setup is attached somewhere in this thread. You did well to use it and get that speed out of it.

I tweak a bit of everything, sometimes with bad consequences but I go through about 10 variations of setups each one building upon the one before it. I usually start with the aero to see if low or high downforce is quicker + adjusting the gearing to suit. Then I fine tune the suspension to suit my driving style and the track conditions. At this stage I'm usually on sticky tyres for a decent hotlap. Lastly I test the tyres for a race length if I have enough time and adjust ARBs, brakes and maybe aero again to create a stable race setup. If time behind the wheel isn't much then I'll just build a race setup and use that for the hotlaps and qual.

a good start then just tried to keep it steady, a few minor offs swapping places with pix quite a few times but at the end of the day I improved my own performance so I am happy with that ... one hour practice before the race really just isn't enough.


did anyone manage to catch a replay of the start ?

also, has anyone tried changing the value in replay.ini ?

after missing the early laps yet again I had a poke around and changed it to 1000, just need to test

I think 500meg is a limit at the moment. I might be wrong.
