Re: My 1994 MX-5
I love rotaries. If i could afford to keep my RX3 13B bridge port which i sold a few years back they would be the only car ide ever own.
Ive always wanted an MX5 with a 13B PP

Re: My 1994 MX-5
Cant say Im a fan (though if someone was giving away RX-8's...) and I certainly wouldnt put on in an MX-5.
And on noise, one day I might do something with a cold air intake to give it a throaty induction and when the exhaust needs changing, I will go bigger and do the whole lot, headers through to tip. But not until it needs a change.

I actually joke, rotaries are great fun and amazing pieces of machinery. One of my favorite sounding cars is a 787b, that thing is 3 kinds of mental.

Ahaha, its almost a little bit like the old tits or arse.
Personally a good combination is the spice for myself. Although must admit a nice turbo spool/air suck pretty much makes exhaust redundant while underpower, but I love a nice sounding exhaust when off power.

Re: My 1994 MX-5
So it has been a while since I had the camera out or talked about how great my car is
I havent done a lot to it either. I raised the rear about 10mm now that the coilovers have well and truly settled and I may need to lift the front or roll the guards. Cheaper option is just to raise it back up a bit
I did get a parcel from Planet Miata in the USofA which I was excited about. When I opened it, my missus just shook her head and couldnt understand my excitedness. It contained second hand reflectors.
and how it sits at then moment

Re: My 1994 MX-5
A mate of mine had a Datsun 240k 4 door. It was the original 6 cylinder engine but extensively modified/worked. The triple Webber carby's amongst other mods gave it one of the horniest induction sounds I had ever experienced. Standing near the car you felt the induction as much as you heard it. It was pure awesome. The plus was the exhaust note was almost as equally good.w00dsy wrote:Bauer wrote:Cant say Im a fan (though if someone was giving away RX-8's...) and I certainly wouldnt put on in an MX-5.

I love the stance on the car stud. Looks sweet as

cheers Mick Im liking the way it sits but I do get a bit of guard scrape. I might raise it a bit for practicality's sake.Exar Kun wrote:I love the stance on the car stud. Looks sweet as
I bought a new steering wheel a few months back too. Didnt post pics as the original horn button doesnt fit flush and it looks wrong. Been on the look out for one and think I found one on the cheap today. Should get that soon I hope

Re: My 1994 MX-5
So Ive had the car just over a year now - and still loving it. Its great to drive, good on fuel, owes me nothing and is fun to spend my time and money on.
Some shots after a recent polish and shot of the steering wheel now it has the horn button in.

Sweet! There's a British racing green NA with a hardtop and tan leather that's taken up residence in my apartment block. It's made me all jealous but I'm not allowed to get one.

nah it looks great, very boy racer, and given what you look like, you'll never be mistaken for a flamer.

Re: My 1994 MX-5
From urban dictionary
Flaming Homosexual
A type of homosexual that is easily detected by a person with little to moderate "gay-dar". The male form is typically extroverted and has an obsession with fashion. The female form it typically stoic and has an obsession with physical prominence.
1. Someone who is so gay that even gay people say he is too gay for them.
2. known to wear extremely unnecessary short-shorts
3. proudly admits his penis size is less then four inches
4. represents a college that he does not go to.
flaming homosexual
quite different from a regular homosexual, a "flamer" tends to be more aggressive and up front about his homosexuality
Man! J.D. is SO gay, he's a flaming homosexual
Lol, I swear I didn't make that last bit up
