Dammit, didn't go to brickalaide this year. Definitely taking the kids next year
At my work place, we're using lego as a motivator to get work done. Every story point (Agile software development) you complete gets you a build step.
Don't know if it's really working, but having fun regardless :P

I'm currently building this with my 7 year old daughter ("I'm sorry Mrs Montey, your daughter is an engineer!").
