Three hours of football and Robert Green is still England's joint top scorer.

It's all becoming very interesting. The England team had a big meeting with the manager to clear the air about why they're shit.
Be interesting to see what effect that has on the game on wednesday.
Will Crapello pick the players the public want to see? Will he play the formation they all play week in week out in the premiership instead of 4-4-2?
It's make or break for them.

So what would you rather be?

A North Korean player or a French player?

norbs wrote:Petey, I am not sure how old you were at the time, but I was told from when started playing at under 5's that you never argued with the ref. It sucks at times, but arguing will never get you anywhere. Even from under 12's when I was captain of the local team, I was within my rights to question the ref, but I never argued. It killed me not to speak my mind, especially as I got older, but getting on the wrong side of the ref was just going to cause the team grief.
Was a few years back now, and I was told the same things norbs. Because the game got me so aggravated to do stupid things such as argue with a ref is the reason I stopped playing (that and obviously I got banned, but I wasn't fussed).

I find the games rules 8/10 are stupid enough to begin with and then you get a ref who is playing for a side and its quite annoying :tilt: I get quite pissed off watching the matches these days let alone playing in them.

So France cheated to beat the Irish and get in to the competition, they played badly, had a tantrum, stopped the hosts winning through to the next round and went out in a very ignominious way.

Cheats never prosper :)

Make or break for England today.
We basically have to win or if we draw we have to hope the USA loses.

The streets will be deserted :D

Our work is showing the game in the seminar room.

Ghana are a good team too. They could easily win the group if they can grab a draw. I think either will be a tough game but as long as we play that same fast flowing attacking game again we should be ok.

Jesus, I just applied a patch to EyeTV to filter out the fucking Vuvuzelas and it works a treat! I don't feel like I am watching the game with a hive of bees on each shoulder.

You only need 8 if the Germans make a draw :D Just 1 will do as long as it's the winner against Serbia and Von Germany lose :eyepop:

Edit... Oh Dear, Germany ahead :(

by the way, I'm not a huge fan of tennis but there's an amazing game going on atm at Wimbledon, two guys playing the final set currently standing at 58 games all :eyepop:

Edit.. Oooh Aussies ahead, need 3 more to get ahead of Ghana on goal difference :yummy:

... and another.... 2 up
