edited the first post with everyones names, if we need two we can split into 2 servers.

Forgot to look at what cars are in multiplayer by default, anyone else got a list? think we should pick somthing abit sporty, but not too much HP.. prehaps an EVO X?

Also what resrictions? should we just leave it up to everyone if they want TC? or turn it off?

I take it that if we split the list it will be an even split?
I vote for no TC

I joined a server last night that had a 315hp limit and 1,100kg weight limit. Ended up driving the STi from the mulitplayer list around Grand Valley and it was a blast. Some dude used a RX-7 that was modified (from his garage) and it was fun keeping on his tail through the twisties.

I can drive high powered cars with the gamepad, but that is mostly dependant on the track. Eg: My Veyron with 1223hp around High Speed Ring is easyish to handle, but at Nurburgring it can be a real handful, same with Sarthe. Anything that has lots of corners or very bumpy or both is a real nightmare with high powered cars using a gamepad.... more so if RWD or MR and RWD.

I think, to keep it simple, the first race would be best around a fairly simple track like Autumn Ring or Deep Forest and the cars fairly low powered. 300hpish, single make?

Im happy for something like Trial Mountain, Deep Forest, Cape Ring.

We can decide the car on the night if no one has a real strong preference.
The Mines GTR Skyline is fun.

Sorry, been busy/traveling for work.

Im going to make some decisions lets start with the game origins.. Japanesse..

Car: Mitsubishi Evo X
Track: Tsukuba
Format: 2 x 15 lap sprints, random grid race one.. reverse grid for race two.
Hosts: nutty and ?? if needed.
Time: 8:00pm QLD, 9:00 NSW/VIC
No traction control/aids.. tho I might leave driving line on?
It looks like we will need two hosts

Might do some points, then in week two we can split up to a Div 1/Div 2 aragment?

1st: 10
2nd: 6
3rd: 4
4th: 3
5th: 2
6th: 1

Ok, since I've never attempted to go online - what's the lobby system like? How do a I join a game that's setup by someone here?

Swoit Tsukuba, but please turn the driving line off mate. Im pretty sure 99.9% of the guys here will never use it.

Yeah, can't see anyone needing a driving line. Even if you haven't driven there before, anyone on ARSE should only take two or three laps to learn the layout of a circuit.

Think Madcap was saying he would prefer to be in the first server split.
