Peter Harburg has removed all the manual winch pillars from Black Jack and replaced them with electric winches.
Also, Giacomo was crewed by a bunch of New Zealand all stars, led by none other than Chris Dickson.
That would help explain some of their success.

Now some stuff from Crosbie and Dale Lorimer. Loyal coming up the Derwent on Saturday evening. There was a lot more spray coming off it than this actually shows:

Dale, who shot this video, was standing next to me and Crosbie, who was doing stills, was in the flybridge.
Notice how we were having a hard time keeping up with her. The shark cat we were on was going flat out (seriously folks, shark cats make shit camera boats)..
Shortly after this she caught a bit of pressure, heeled a bit and made some slight groaning sounds, then just powered away.
Seriously boys and girls, I've covered eight Sydney-Hobarts and still never seen anything like this monster.

Ah, en fin todo se reduce a que el clima en los días.
Hay un montón de diseños diferentes que utilizan el viento de manera diferente, y hay que sacar el máximo provecho de ella.
