I'll be in Melbourne from the 31st to Nov 6th for my girlfriends brothers wedding and I've just been informed that we'll be going. Considering the grooms side of the family isn't the classiest im assuming we'll fit right in.

I hate these events. I view it as angry little people, pissed off at the world because the only job they can find is riding a horse so they whip the shit out of them, and shoot them if they are a dud.

Then you have families who train horse and are book makers so they take peoples money either way and fuck them over. Fuck 'em! Now where's my best shotgun... :rage:

I had a conversation with him not so long ago. He is as common in real life as he seems to be on TV.

They put the other one down after it broke its leg.

Used to be worse. Back in the day they would have just rigged up a screen in the middle of the track and shot it.

Had to go into the city yesterday for a meeting I couldn't postpone. Followed two Shazzas up the escalators at Central about 11am, with one of the plump pair trying to hold the back of her dress together. The zip had failed spectacularly (the sides were maybe 4 inches apart - there was no way that was going to come back together). As they tottered off they were loudly discussing their options for fixing it. Heh.

As mentioned best work day of the year. Cracked the first beer at around 9.30AM and finally pulled stumps at 2AM, blur of booze, smoke and plenty of top shelf totty properly dressed for once.

Fark I'm bone tired today however LOL

From what I saw in the city, it was very much lower-shelf and dressed like hookers. And to paraphrase Sam de Brito, the blokes all looked like they were headed for court appearances for one-punch assaults.

That reminds me... I really need to go to the cup one year... :)
