Re: My Newish Car
5-6seconds would be a rough guess, can't do much with that power to get less than 5 seconds. Trouble is getting it to the ground for the first 100km/h.

Re: My Newish Car
wouldn't have a clue, my ss with 230rwkw was around 5.5 seconds though. Realistically down the 1/4 it should run close to a 10 with decent tyres now. Its easily got the power its just if it can get off the line any good

Re: My Newish Car
That is a pretty average 0-100 considering how much power you have. It would be sooooooo hard to get it to the ground. I bet once it gets going though it doesn't stop. I love dragging off HSV's in my little 2.0 Turbo, gives them such a shock when they are a couple of car lengths behind!

Maybe a few bags of cement are in order to get the grip.

I have to say, while they're not really my cup of tea ('they' being Aussie big cars), I love that yours looks pretty much stock but pushes out serious numbers.

Re: My Newish Car
With the "spare" tyres.. did you go the stocky rim way.. or were they put on your rims.
Regrading the power skids. would you do a Nat's burn out show? like till they popped/car got to hot.?

Re: My Newish Car
nah man, i had it entered to go on the burnout pad but i was recommended not to because i actually like my car in one piece so i gave it a miss. I still had my old 18s and they had new tread all round so i took those, and i had bought a couple of 17" rims with drag radials on them. Took the radials off and got blue smoke tyres put on

Re: My Newish Car
Well yes true, your car does look the goods.. and some of the Nats Burnout cars don't look so good after an event. Being one of the mottos, don't stop till you hear a pop.. but which first engine or tyres.
Which brand of blues did you get?

Re: My Newish Car
Just a remoulded tyre wobbly, brand was highway, they gripped up a little much for my liking, really needed to put some ks on them first lol. Still got the whole straight smoking with them on the first time they had ever been used but not as much wheel speed lol

Re: My Newish Car
Not a bad sound at all.. and even by the end you were putting out the same amount of smoke as when you started. As some lose it.

Re: My Newish Car
Was there any brake in that? You weren't going quick at all, which suggests either those tyres have no grip, or you were realllly cooking them.

Re: My Newish Car
Ha. Both is good. Just curious as high tyre pressures obviously give better skids.
That's some decent boost too. How low does it kick in?
