Re: 50,000,000 metres!
Thank oh guru norbs.
Umm take my 2k ahead of my own target and the worm would be much worse, as much as I'm trying I doubt I'll make up for mr lesiure on my own.
But the pie is starting to worry me, I mean should I be proud or concerned that am 1/3 of our combined total.... addiction is never good!!!
Keep plugging A.R.S.E.'s it'll be a great achievement all the same come Dec 31.

Re: 50,000,000 metres!
I haven't helped lately. Only put in a small 150 odd km last month mostly due to weather and work load at uni. Hopefully I will recover a bit more this month.

Re: 50,000,000 metres!
Well I had to can it due to getting my car sorted which required me to be up bright and early on most days. I got about half of the km done at least and I still have until Monday.w00dsy wrote:how did your 500km in 3 weeks go? I'm assuming not so hot if you got caught up with work etc.

I just realised it is quite possible I will reach my 2011 goal in either the ATB or the Melb-Warny...

I've started running in place of cycling so unfortunately I won't be adding to my total.
Emjay has started riding again though.

Somehow, we are 3,247kms behind the trend line with the worm. No idea why it has blown out that far.

Re: 50,000,000 metres!
mrleisure is 4066km behind. If we revised the target to 45000 to reflect losing him we might scrape in
Carl, Flinty and Crowella are making up for the rest of us slackers who aren't getting it done.
I think 1200 is the most I can hope for at the moment. At the start of the year I thought I'd be lucky to get to 1500 so I'm not far off despite not being able to ride anywhere near as much as I would have liked to.

Re: 50,000,000 metres!
Well, I've finally clocked up just over 2000km, but I don't think I'm going to make my goal. I'm guessing I'll probably get to about 2500 for the year (lucky there are some of you to take up the slack!). I was going great guns earlier in the year but I got lazy and busy over the cooler months (mostly lazy...) and got too far behind. I won some prize money at the Perth Nationals Photographic Comp this year, so I might put that toward a new bike . Our old bikes are heaps of shit! They cost us around $300 each about fourteen years ago, but I just ride for fitness so it's not really that critical to have an awesome bike. Anyway, a new bike might rev me up to go riding a bit more

You might find a new bike gets the motivation going again. Well done on the 2k though, good effort that.
