Found this great little channel last night.
Mostly covers Japanese sportscars but there are a few others that he's covered since his first videos.

Just a few months ago he was an F1 driver.....
Saw a clip on twitter of him doing some pointless promo thing running in different kinds of footwear (flippers, cowboy boots etc). What a come down.

Yeah its even funnier that he wasn't in Australia at the time.... that was Liam Lawson @ Bathurst driving around with his helmet and he had to voice over it after...

Great cinematography as usual but trying to pass Danny off as the driver and actor was going a step too far in my opinion.

But they did their job, its amazing how many people in the comments sections have eaten this up and not realised Danny was on the other side of the planet when it was being filmed.

Last weekend Hayden Paddon won the Otago Rally for the 10th time. At this point his only competition are the stage records (virtually all held by Paddon himself).

This is the signature stage of the event, Kuri Bush. The rally organisers are blessed with a huge number of roads to choose from in the area, so every year the event is almost completely different - but Kuri Bush is included every year because it is just a beautifully crazy piece of road.

Hayden was trying to beat his own stage record, using a Hyundai Rally2 car. If you can spare a few minutes it's worth watching to see him maximising everything to try and get the record.

I was interested to see his use of the handbrake at 1:23 and especially at 1:44, not to lock the rear wheels but just to unlock the centre diff to reduce understeer.

Shane van Gisbergen has been running a few events in the New Zealand Rally Championship this year in a borrowed AP4 car (regional regs allowing people to build 4WD 1.6L turbo cars out of any model).

He's been getting quicker, closing the gap between himself and Hayden Paddon (who has just been "cruising" to another title). Anyway, last weekend he managed a few stage wins against Hayden, including this one:

It's pretty clear that he's got half-decent car control.

That tarmac section around 7m30 is intense. Seems like he keeps his foot planted.

I always gave Prost the benefit of the doubt in this incident and thought Senna stuffed it up the inside.

But looking at it front on and tracking Prosts turn in trajectory. It looks like he had no intention of making the corner and just blocked Senna into the crash. If Senna wasnt there, and Prost ran that line, he would have gone all 4 wheels over the inside apex grass in my opinion.

Have always believed Prost did that deliberately, it was entirely beneficial for him to do so, just like Schumacher on Hill in Adelaide in '94.

McMurtry at Silverstone running 80% power. For reference, the pole lap in the GP last year was 1.26.7
