Hz-Lab wrote:due to iRacings hand of god approach with most of these things. I reckon if we do ever get custom skins, then they will be team based to an extent. I feel a team will need to be registered, and the Skins will need to be submitted for approval and use a template as far as sponsors on the car, i mean the cluster on the nascars will have to be there and maybe some series sponsors if it ever comes to that. Personally, I don't mind that idea.

If skins have to reach a certain level to be approved then so be it. I feel they will need to implement a download system like LFS however otherwise those updates are gonna be filled with Skin files.

i was thinking of the same thing after i posted it, also to lower bandwidth used and space needed to store them all

i tell you what, after these last couple days of the late model races at lowes, I am seriously thinking Oval racing is gonna be my main focus in iRacing. i have had some of my best sim racing experiences in the last couple days.

Yeah Geoff, was awesome!! I'm with you Kyle, I was a bit iffy about doing some of the LM rounds, but dam, they are a truck load of coolness....

Fingers crossed the driving standard will pick-up, these FUN races for this week, are becoming less FUN and consistently more FRUSTRATING!!!

i'm going to bed frustrated,(in a non-sexual way) ;)

lol. yes its frustrating, but i am just taking it for what it is. It's not tarnishing our Srating and its also giving us a lot of praccy dealing with sticky situations. I think when SR's are at risk it will clean up a little. I can't wait for yellows to come into play.. woohoo

Agreed. It may take a couple of seasons though I think. If peeps gets smashed all over the park, I can genuinely see people dropping back a license. It may take till the second time around for people to clue on. Regardless, racing with people from ARSE has been a massive pleasure and it's a real credit to you guys the way you run. Clean as a whistle.

Oval racing rocks.

and the bigger the car and bigger the track the better it gets. and I LOOOVE restrictor plate racing, which is essentialy what we are doing. im not a fan of short track, but its more enjoyable than the road racing tbh :P
