I just love that sound. But is there any way to up the rev limit? 7500 rpm is just not enough.

You can up the rev limit of the engine by changing the torque. (makes the MRT rev all the way up as well)

I was playing last night with a 4WD 1.6/1.8L V6 XFG at ~300bhp. Makes Fern Bay Rallycross really really fun to drive now

I just tried the inline 5... sounds very nice!! They need a car with this as standard :P

For those who want to try something like a Carrera GT, try a:

5.7L flat 10 at 612 bhp in the FZR. (0.1588 power setting)

Of course in reality it's a V but eh. It has a really nice bass noise at high revs, much like the famous BRM 1.5L V16. Make sure not to use these settings with an XRR though, the audio stuffs up (constant clipping) or LFS crashes.

I made a FBM with about the same power as a F1, couldn't get it around any corners without it instantly spinning though lol FOX was a bit more manageable

Does anyone know the deal with LFS Tweak? From reading the LFS Forums it seems no one bar us know it has a working version for Patch Y. All im seeing are topics from people wanting it with replies to LFS Tune and other apps.

I didn't want to post anything on the Forums in case its not approved by the Dev's

LFS tweak is being redisgned by bob smith i think for patch Y, im just using mechanic at the moment. It has far less features than tweak, but just as much fun.

Noobish question but how do you get it to apply cause i did what it said on the 1'st page and it didn't apply when i went in the garage

you have to run lfs first then open mechanic, open a single player\multiplayer, then change the values on mechanic, after doing that pit the car and the changes should take effect.

I'm using the official patch Y on Windows Vista and it's working, so maybe it's the test patch causing the problem???
