My prime reason for jail braking my phone was for the wireless hotspot benefit. Negates the need for a 3G iPad for me.(which I don't have)

Hmmm anyone know why iOS 4.3 doesnt allow a 3Gs to be a wifi hot spot?? Do they not have the hardware? or Apple just want everyone to upgrade their handset?

probably that. I think the Cydia app Mifi does it fine. not 100% sure though
