its a VERY early layout.... no scenery... just road, some barriers and grass, which has no collisions :)

I have still yet to try this sim out with anything but the keyboard

The track is super wide as well, could race a bus 5 wide around the entire track!

Thornz, It isnt that wide.

But even though it is early build.. it makes you not to be lazy and use the walls.. track feels really good even the bumps.

1:50 in the Formula B
2:20 somting in the Anaso 4x Touring

Is this worth the dollars to download and try out? I heard it the handling/feeling was a bit like Shift 2, which I didnt really like. Some interesting cars they got there.

Depends on how you set up your wheel.

You can also just get the Junior with the once a month update.

My god. So blurry. I turned just about every shader crap off and it still looks awful. It's like they've found a library of shader effects and just added all of them.

The menu's are hosed up, and the steering is massively laggy unless I run at like 1280x960 res which makes it look even worse.

It's gone backwards.

Project CARS – Build 121 Available

Slightly Mad Studios have released the final development build of their WMD-powered Project CARS title for 2011.

The year ends on a high note for Project CARS members as the build adds a brand new vehicle to the title: The Ariel Atom Mugen, a specially tuned version of Ariel’s popular lightweight sports car racer.

The Atom Mugen is powered by a Mugen-tuned Honda iVTEC Type-R engine putting out 270hp, the car also comes with a special paint scheme and special rims.

Furthermore, the new build comes with more progressed versions of the in-development Bathurst & Spa Francorchamps tracks, providing an fitting proving ground for the nimble Atom.

Cool. I registered but will have to buy a Juniour license later :)

That must be the worlds hardest car to drive... to change up a gear, you pull the stick back and to change down a gear you pull the stick back! :D

and Peter must be using a h-pattern shifter by the way he downshifts. A method I dearly missed in iRacing once they took it off us :( In fact it was around that time I started losing interest.

You can use the H-pattern in iRacing, just only with cars that actually have it IRL, which is pretty much just the mX-5's i think

Yes thats right (and the Mustang and Solstice and the Nascar series cars). And I understand the mentality behind doing what they did but it doesnt change the fact my fun levels decreased in their quest for realism.

oval stuff to.

Technically we should be able to use it in the V8 as it has both gearbox's availible. Just everyone uses the sequential now.

at 0:25 when he crunches it back, it moves forward?!?!? Even harder to drive when the direction changes by RPM and not up-down shift.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you finally have enough horsepower.

LOL never noticed that... but now after watching it again, on approaching T1 (0.09) the stick goes forward to down shift!

Is there any way to get rid of the swaying that seems to be so prevalent in the game? This might be the unique shift feeling that people refer to, but it just seems like everytime i steer the car is on a pendulum and will steer to far to either the left or right and require counter steer.
