Fark!!!!!

That was easily the worst drive I have ever had in a league race.

First off, appologies to Amwarrior for the punt at T1. I just completely missed the braking point, that was very embarrassing.

After that, it was just off after off after off.

Pretty bummed as I thought I had a good bit of pace, but just couldn't keep the bastard straight.

Congrats to Darren for a great drive, pretty impressive stuff.

Now I want to know what happened to Viper. He was as all over the place as me.

Did anyone get results, I got booted before it happend.

Was awesome Rots, i just didn't have it in me to keep you behind at the end but we were battling for what like 15 laps? I probably haven't had a race that close/clean for ages. Swapping spots on the straight and into turn 1 a few times was quite hairy but thanks for not punting me off. Sorry to nutty i think when i spun on like lap 5 i hit you when i was backwards sorry man

Some good racing, guys. (boy ave I missed this)

I'm pissed that I screwed up the battle I was having with boxhead... shouldn't have tried to stay in front of the faster BMW that had just come back on the track the lap before, because I hit the curb awkwardly going into ascari and binned it. :fall:

It's tremendously difficult to get internet speed with 5 people intensively using the net in the house + potential Foxtel downloading which we can't control. Sorry guys.

So annoyed too because I thought I had a brilliant start.
Is that what that was...... had amwarrior going up the inside of me into T1 and all of a sudden something hit me and there was a mass pile up!!
That happened about a second in front of me. I had 250ms ping. I was actually confused myself. I had a ton of time to go around. I even delibrately hit the brakes early because of it. I tried my best to be as precautious as possible then decided against racing.

Great fun! Without a doubt my best drive in any game ever ;)

Got punted off in T1, back of the field.. then taken out in the last corner by someone coming back onto the track.. then I put my head down and overtook the field up to 3rd! I gave up chasing down M1K and just put in solid safe laps :) wish I wasnt taken out early could have given you a good run :)

Yeah, close to 15 laps I reckon. It was great bit of racing and got very hairy under brakes into turn 1!!

I am hoping I wasn't lagging right at the start because my move from 13th to 7th alongside Flinty was awesome.

Rots wrote:Sorry to Righty, I gave you a tap at one stage. I had a frame rate drop and didn't give you enough room :(

Other than that though, had a blast racing against Shaun.. that is until I only had enough fuel to limp to the finish lol.
I was looking forward to the last few laps, shame you had to stop. :(

PS I almost didn't make it to the end with the fuel I had... :eyepop:

Pix, it was
1. huyest
2. waywardtoaster
3. Cursed

stopped caring after that :D

T1 was a bit of a disaster. Still I managed to hop by nearly everyone from 2nd last to 2nd as they spun off, then I had my turn spinning another 3 or 4 times and falling back to 3rd.

What a night.....

Ran my Race setup in Prac and terrible all over the shop and looking bad....

Switched to my quali and got myself onto 3rd on the grid :D

Decentish start but super careful in T1 and backed up everyone behind a bit, Darren and Viper gone.... No idea what happened but had a gap behind and came around the final turn to see Viper in the weeds

Amwarrior had awesome speed and managed to keep him behind for a while, as he was passing me someone came out of nowhere (Righty) hit AM who must of bounced into me, I held it from spinning and got out of there. Basically on my own in 2nd for ages, my wheel setup started moving around about lap 15 so I was driving while having to move it back an forth so a bit up an down laps....Terrible the first time it moved..... bounced off some walls and lost 4 seconds!!!! Glad damage is not in the game yet!!

Nutty got behind me and I was trying to stay calm and not look at the laptimes, when I did I would drop time...... terrible final lap but was way out to be able to bring it home

Loved this car and track combo.... hope I can gel with Imola

Crow, get a router with QoS and stick your gaming pc in the highest priority queue. I had to do that when I was living with family.

I knew the 458 would be good in the race given it doesn't have softs to qual on, but I didn't expect it to be that much quicker. I didn't know if the tyres would last, but they were going great until I had a major tank slapper on lap 16. After a big lock up to save that they were a bit greasy but still held to the end.
