What's this with Red and Blue servers? They didnt' have that back in the old days :P

actually channels, when you login, you can choose between 3 channels....they work just like different servers, so everyone isn't crowded in the one place. You have to be on the same channel as someone if you want to play against, or see them.

EDIT:... slight typo there, i meant "so everyone ISN'T crowded" ....

Well I had a crack last night. Fuck me it can be a slow old event when the 2 guys you are playing leave it til 3 seconds to go to hit the ball on a 60 second timer.

Bauer handed my ARSE to me on a silver platter earlier on. Take note. Matchplay doesnt take handicap into account. :(

Better look out for this guy Derek, he's pretty damn good :eyepop:

I'll be 'around' today, hanging in teamspeak, if you want a game just pop in, or i'll be on msn.

Tip #1 from Norbs. You cant putt out of a bunker very well :D

and yeah, matchplay seems to be an off the stick game. Thanks for helping me test it

righto, whos up for a game tonight?

I know Rod "Tiger" Woods is keen as mustard.

I can hear Petey on TS thumping away on his mike. I thought I heard the sound of tissues being pulled out of the box before, so god knows what he is up to.

Argh... loop of doom.

Can't register becuase there's already an account at my e-mail address.... yet can't recover user ID becuase there's no account associated with the same address

Why does this kind of shit only ever happen to me?

edit - sweet... fresh installation and showhow it's remembered by old ID... an I remembered the password.
I'm up for a hit tonight... no teamspeak for me yet though.

Well i tell you what, i haven't laughed so much in a long time....was literally in pain ....

That was great fun guys, now i need to fix this problem with my Shotonline crashing, i'll do a re-down re-install i think.
Have a feelings its because i didn't install language pack at the start, its the only odd thing i did, and the fonts/etc. are messed up, but i said to never install languages when i did...so workin on it..

Hey people! Man I havent played Shot Online since the old days with some of the old SCR folk.

I just tried signing up for a new account since I lost all the details to my old one, and I can't seem to get an email from them for signing up :(
Has anyone else had this problem?

^^ Indeed, they do not send out conformation e-mails.
Try to log in with the userid and password you provided them with.

as HB said, not yet. It may be something we look at later on, depending on how we are looking after the initial 'something new to play' enthusiasm has worn off. If there is still interest down the track, we will certainly look seriously at a guild as long as it doesnt take the laid back ARSE outlook away from us :)

Time for a norbs mini rant.

Boy this game is like sim racing. Unless people get off to a great start, they bail out. And they go into the 1st few holes like T1 in a pickup race on a Bigpond server. I have joined a few 18 hole games only to have the other 3 bail if they have a crappy start. Fark. If you dont want to play 18, play 9 or 6 or even the 20/20 version of golf, 3 holes FFS!

i agree norber

and that why I league race :)

as for golf, I havent played (this time) with anyone but an ARSE member for that very reason.
