Changing Weather.
If your anything like me, you'll love pink, fine food and wine, elegant women and dynamic weather in sim racing! We haven't had the pleasure of this since GP4. But today i found a neat little app for GTR2 that gets rid of the dynamic weather bug. Google N.A.P. I did a 45 minute race at Valencia. It started off dry and in the first 20 mins there was a small shower twice, just enough to make the track damp. Then it pissed down for the rest of the race. Unfortunately it's missing the dry line effect that gp3/4 gave you. But it's not too bad.

You want N.A.W. 1.21. This can be used online also if the host has it

Re: Changing Weather.
The guy that hosts the server for the comp I'm running in set it up with one of those dynamic weather apps.
He checks the weather forcast for the actual track location the day before, posts the forecast and sets the generator to work for the race.
We had declared 'Wet" race at Donnington and one with intermittent showers at Mid-Ohio. Makes for quite a variation in strategies and set ups and is good fun too.
I found them to be a little TOO dynamic, however. The "Wet" race cleared up quickly then went very wet again all within the space of the hour long race. But its good to mix things up a little.
EDIT: Oops....thread necromancy , sorry
