Right, sorted it. My car sounds like a BMW 320 :D

I just did a 1:51.8. I took a screenshot but I'll be buggered if I can find it, but I have the replay. That first corner's great fun :)

Just reinstalled rF.
How do you choose a manual gearbox?
I'm just over 2 mins with an autobox and a big spin.

The autoshift and other aids are in the difficulty menu (Player on the left menu).

Just done a 1m49.599, and now I'm off to watch the footy :)

That's what I'm using too. In British Racing Green, naturally ;)

Here's my lap replay if it helps.

did I assume correctly that we cant make ANY mods to the cars, also including setup changes?

If the guys getting low 50's/49's are driving it bog stock - them im REALLY crap!

You assumed correctly. Bog standard. No setups. Just like on Top Gear. I thought I said that in the 1st post actually.

Edit. I did mention no mods in the 1st post.

My mate tried this and (accidentally) missed out the braking area and corner before hammerhead, so you can cut massive sections of the track and the laps will still count. I noticed the rF replay screen has a video export, so I might try that tonight and put a full lap on you tube so everyone can see where to go. It's not exactly clear unless you know the show :)

Blimey, can't compress it much then. I might have to run it through Premiere first then.

I may not have done it the best way though. It took for ever. Maybe you can change the resolution and compression.

you need to change the export to DivX or xVid and then it cuts it down... Where to do that... I've forgotten... but if Google don't tell you... I can go hunting.

I did my lap stock, no setup changes, nothing.

I cracked it cause you practically stop at Chicago, but the rear still bloodyt slides!!!

I guess I'll try to get 49's if anyone's faster me in the same stock car though!!! :)

I'll get a screeny too
