I just noticed mine went from 2.99 to 3.40 but should have only jumped by around .01

It appears this is a 'boost' of sorts to give you a bonus for reaching 3.00 so that you dont immediately fall below 3.00 in your next race.

Yeah it makes sense, a couple unfortunate incidents and you're suddenly back below 3 again and out of the higher series. I'm a little incident prone today, had eight in a road race earlier tonight and I just finished a qual with six lol.
Still I managed a 1:04.276 with the Solstice round LRP

Anyway, if you don't have at least one incident a race your not trying hard enough!

i had 4 incidents, none of which were my fault, someone ran up the back of me when i was on the apron holding down escape... on the straight in practice. then in the race someone spun up into me, no damage or spin from me but i got a incident report. was gutted

I just jumped from 2.88 to 3.41 lol but I'm spewing as I spun out on the third lap from first, eventually fought all the way back up to third. Grrr stupid little mistake cost me my first win

I had a very good run, jumped from 2.8x to 3.5x in one clean quali. Then, repeating the clean quali I've jumped only .1 or so. Then another TT session, 1 mistake, jumped another .1 only. It's rather erratic. The same clean session gives you different points, and the difference is 5 times!

Well I got my first win completely clean run, lead from start to finish, 3.41 to 3.53

Yes, now above 3 it's rather slow. up to 3.7 now, but by the looks I'll need a few clean races to get to 4...and I'm on the plane in 3 days ffs, I have to get my 4 before it, otherwise I'm stuck on rookie level for antoher season!

After battling in the 2s for a while, making quite a few errors, I decided to drive at around 90%, my license has since jumped up quickly to 3.67 after two near clean races. And also have managed to take my first win by just taking it easier than usual, and have a bit of luck go my way. Am hoping to get that up to 4 ASAP so I can start racing open wheelers, am pretty sick of the solstice.

I just had a clean race in the advanced with 5 other guys, started and finished 2nd and my SR went 3.77->3.91 wohooo! It's doable!

Is there any difference between the rookie solstice and advanced?

The only difference is you can adjust some of the setup.

Advanced solstice has a softer front rollbar, so it has less understeer. You can also adjust tyre pressures, camber and toe.

Tip for tyre pressures; for high speed/high load corners (Lime Rock, Laguna) put the pressures fairly high. 230-250kPa. For low speed corners (summit point) put them lower. 180-200. Being a street tyre they need higher pressures to maintain shape in faster bends.

Advanced Legends has a higher rev limit so you get more power and it has full setup options available.

The official description says it's a different, more racey setup on the car, and yeah, you have some limited setup options too.

Edit: Darren's more accurate. Are you coming for the 7 GMT (5 o'clock) advanced race?

hm...the calculatin of SR is a rather interesting one.

last 2 races in the advanced...
both with 3 people on the grid
both I've started from pole and won
but in the 2nd there was a D class driver, who did a show up but did not join the race after all.

1st I got about +0.07
2nd I got about +0.5

so there are more factors to it, by the looks
and now it's time for the skippy with an SR of 4.42

But, just looked at the cost to race the skip barber series, its another $60!! two extra tracks and the car itself!
Also, how come there is no Formula Mazda series?

I guess with a years subscription, you basically get to enter the skip season for free with your 60 bucks credit.
