VTRacing's Rallying thread
Hey gang, I know there's a million threads floating around here at the moment with some of my rallying stuff in it, but I thought I'd set this thread before I head off to Adelaide over the weekend.
After tonight I won't be able to get online, I'm not taking a computer down with me.
If anyone's in the area next weekend, come on out to the super special at Angaston, or the service park at Mt Pleasant, or even better come and find a proper forest stage at Mt Crawford. If you want to get in touch, pm KNAPPO, he has my mobile number. I won't have time to hang around after the super specials on Friday and Saturday nights, but I should be around on Friday evening before the event starts. So if you see my car, and some tall, shaven-headed, nerdy-looking guy with glasses standing near it, come and introduce yourself.
Oh, and the bright blue racesuit should be a giveaway too.
We're hoping to have a clean run, I don't expect we'll be setting the world alight, but we are only really fighting the other 7-8 crews who have registered for the Premier League category (which means pump fuel only and tyre number restrictions).

I arrived there at 5:15 and didn't take off till just past 8.
The blokes at DZign FX were at it for about 12 hours, bloody top effort by Simon & Ben
Some smaller details were being added just after these pics were taken but 99% of the car is complete.
Really looking forward to checking the WRX out in the light tomorrow when Matt takes me for a blast thru the forest at Kersbrook
More shots to come

Nar, It was mentioned (he wanted to know what ARSE was all about) but not having enough time is the big factor.VIPEROSI wrote:So does simon race online as well? If not knappo or VTR should get him involved!

Re: VTRacing at Rally SA
Looks pretty awsome! I'll be there saturday night at the SS at angaston, We can't goto the normal rally stages? My mate rang up and they said something like 200 out of something people got to watch the normal stages or something, and that we could only goto the special stage at angaston which is on Friday and Saturday night. Dunno what the go is there.
