Just returned from the forest, Matt's still trucking along :D

He seemed a little off the pace to those before him but it was still awesome to see my car again

EDIT: Heres a few pics. Not as wild as a few of the blokes before him.

I wont be going to the SS tonight, not to keen to see em on tarmac after seeing them in the forest the last few days.
Ill be back at Mt Crawford tomorrow as its a killer section of road ;)

Just got back from the SS, I msg'd you knappo, Didn't realise you were not there. Matts car looks awesome in the flesh for sure and holy fricken heck, that anti lag lmao. By far the loudest thing out there.

It was so fricken cold though i still can't feel my toes. I took some shots, I don't think any came out any fricken good. Panning at night is something i need to practice a hell of a lot more. I'll have a look through tomoz and see if i can find anything decent.

Went out to the forest too, wasn't there very long before it stopped though :( Was a bit of a bummer, then went to the SS at Angaston, how bloody cold was it!!! Went and had a chat to Matt when they all came in and parked, car looked awsome, wished him luck, was good to have a chat and see it in the flesh! That anti-lag is spastic, VTs was definately the loudest, hope he goes well today! :)

Wow, thanks for all the support fellas, I just got back tonight after a 2-day drive home.

I'll post some thoughts now before I go to bed, but I'm pretty tired so they may not make sense. We had a pretty good weekend, all things considered.

The car is straight (and there were plenty who can't say that over the weekend *cough Guesty *cough cough).

We finished inside the top 10 outright in both heats (10th Heat 1, 8th Heat 2)

We finished 2nd in both heats in our category (Premier League - hello lawsuit) behind Dennis Dunlop

It was my first proper run in the car, and the first full event for John and myself as a crew. Not to mention my first interstate ARC for 4 years. :)

We had a few niggling little dramas with the car over the weekend, including a misfire that we traced to the wiring harness which was causing the car to cut out frequently on Friday night and Saturday morning.

We chucked some seriously wicked skids.... :D

Anyway, big thanks again to KNAPPO for the design, and DZignFX for applying it. Big thanks to the boys who made it out to Angaston for the super special. It seems that some who were there didn't come up to say hello (I don't mind), but I met SamC who's a nice bloke :)

To the guys who made it out into the forest, awesome. It was really great to see some enthusiastic spectators through that stage. And KNAPPO, one of the reasons I looked so crap through the point where you were on Saturday (and there are many reasons) is that I tried to downshift to 2nd and got 4th instead... :bang:

More news and incar (which looks sensational by the way) to come soon.

Was planing to come up and say hi but it didn't end up happening, sorry :( (was with a group of my mates-mates and didn't want to be anti-social)
I also didn't have my camera on Saturday night, so I only ended up with photo's from Sunday and some crappy phone video from the day/night before :( (yes I made it to the forest stages on both days :D)

Ok here's some incar I've uploaded (to vimeo). This stage was called "Pipeline" and was the 2nd stage on Sunday morning.

Horsepower was important here... :)

Yeah, bit of a bummer that. He was the car behind me on the road, too.

But that meant he was copying me rather than the other way around... :)

Yeah, that's one of the ones I'll upload. Probably day 2's version because I did the "spectator point" better. :)

I have every stage on vid.
