on there bumper

u need to get 3 cars in a line, all to hold the bottom through the corner, i think entering mid high into the corner is the best way, always gain on people who enter high, but yeah 3 cars bumper to bumper is the fastest

meanwhile. just chatting to neil on msn about that race. there was some serious see saw action on the wheels from the lead group. I myself was guilty of it due to being a little jumpy around all the swerving cars. Was the 1st race i have been around other Aussies where everyone was bustling for position so early. And it ended in tears. Gotta keep them things in a straight line, myself included.

hehe. yes, i am aiming for all us aussies to dominate. ha

basicly guys, stop racing so hard at the start. just cruise. get in line and work with someone, get 3 cars at the front working together they will pull away from the pack who are fighting.

in that race i had to really back off, knappo i could see your front wheels just moving left right left right etc whilest i was up high! Not cool :P

That was probably lag on my behalf. The bloke ahead of me looked like one of the animated cars from the movie 'cars' leaping from left to right as he warmed his tyres...

The only time i got erratic on the wheel was when the mrs came in and turned right and tied to save it and took Kyle out.

that was a great race Neil! It is all about taking the first 40 laps easy... no crazy passing atempts etc.

The last 10 laps was exciting, swapped the lead a few times, then 4 to go, I got a nice run up the inside off turn 2 (I think, back straight..?!) and was able to keep the low line, and had sussed Neil's earlier passing which he liked to do close to the inside on T4, so I had to really hold it tight onto the grass. If the LM D class races will be anything like that, I sooooooo can't wait!!

D class will be nothing like this, as its short track its more road racing like braking and what not. but the same etiquette still applies ;)

I feel like there is a lot of seesaw action too. But then I am beginning to think it's lag. I find myself wishing people could just keep their shit straight.

yep, i'm thinking it's lag also. Neil wasn't keeping a straight line, and if I know Neil, like I know Neil, Neil, always keeps a straight line.....

Yeah ive been noticing the cars move around A LOT when there is lag, even if the bloke is driving in a straight line.
