Hey this is awesome, there's more grip you'll ever need, hehe. It feels like there's no end to it.
Did a few laps to test the waters, and I was wondering if a 2.09 at Road America is any good?

Re: Mazda
The quick guys are in the mid 2:04's now. I had a go at making a setup on Wednesday and got a 2:05.7, so more work to do yet.
There is so much grip you have to brake very late, throw it into the corners and be aggressive with it which is not my normal driving style. Carrying brake into the corner makes a big difference, too. T1 is crazy.

Re: Mazda
thanks!
I've now created a slightly oversteery set and got down to 2.07.8 but I seem to have hit a wall... it's very good on the tyres by the way
Do you (or anyone) know what are the effects of changes to the pushrod?

Re: Mazda
Ride height.
You know how on normal formula car suspension you can see a diagonal rod that goes from the bottom near the wheel to the top on the nose cone side? That's the pushrod. Making it longer pushes the wheels down, away from the chassis increasing the ride height.

Re: Mazda
Pushrods sit inside the motor delivering oil from the bottom end to the top(something like that. I should know exactly... but i don't). But I doubt that's their interpretation.

Re: Mazda
am I just imagining or the Mazda got a bit livelier with the update?
Mind you I haven't raced it too much, after it seems I can't manage the change of cars too well.
