for those that havent noticed, and play every now and then like me... season 2 is out and, well I know theres a new course, new charater, and it seems a massive update so I'm looking forward to playing.

yeah saw that. downloaded it this morning

I can't go for more than 2 mins before the game protector thing tells me there's a hack running closes the window and the error msg has some asiam jibberish below it

i haven't had any problems with it

it is more busier now tho

I havent played for about a year - took for ever to load all the updates and now it can't connect

I haven't checked, just settin up a new PC now, but I hope an update comes out to fix all this... I kinda like the game!

Mine says "game service not available now, try later" so hopefully its just the servers down - its been quite a few hours now though.

i am running it fine atm .. are you sure you are using the right domain: shot-online.com

Where do I set that? I am just running the .exe i did when i played a long time ago. It auto-updated fine, but wont work when i press "Game Start" button

edit: tried running shot.exe and now it is installing some gameguard engine.. lets see where this takes me

edit 2: that tells me to run shotonline.exe which is what i run anyway.. back to square one.. doh!

yes when it loads up it does an update then lets you click the game start .. then if the gameguard needs an update it does that also before the game loads

i just use a icon

Target "X:\Program Files\ShotOnline International\ShotOnline.exe"

Start in "X:\Program Files\ShotOnline International"


and the domain thing is after you click "Game Start", it loads up the game then you log in

Ah, mine won't get that far. I'll try reinstalling.

Gave it a dl this arvo but it won't auto update. Must be a server side thing? Guess i'll have to try again some other time. I enjoy this game too, so hoepfully it works soon =]

ah ok .. only had to do a game guard today .. so might be the server

I redownloaded it from one of the mirrors, but then discovered the mirror had a diff size file (320meg compared to 500), when that install didnt work i downloaded the 500MB file, and now its working

Just have a 6 hole game versus some randoms and came 2nd!

Got it working eventually. Had a quick 9 at alf, man do i suck now, lol.

And i dont' see why it's season 2... it's still about the same, the greens are still pissing me off, lol.
