Right now it feels like I am on dialip.. m4driving must be under a lot of load as I am downloading tracks at 4.1k.... painful!!
So far I have Laguna Seca and updated Bathurst. Laguna looks ok, but not impressed with Bathurst. All those trees give it reduced FPS in some sections when doing single player - haven't tried it with a full grid yet. All other tracks (orginals + Laguna) allow me to run GTR at it's highest GF setting, but not Bathurst.
I'm slowly downloading Mantorp Park now... I'm trying to get all the tracks that the ausorc guys run on their servers... but did I mention m4driving is slow??

we will hopefully be releasing ORSMs tracks converted to GTR.. Pukekhoe, Wanaroo, Hidden Valley and others. But we have to confirm the proper permission to do so.. so dont get ya hopes up too much... although we are confident it will be all good, you have to make sure you do the right thing.
also, a release candidate for the final version of the V8 conversion (that rymes) is currently being tested.. so may not be too far away.

Spent about 1 hour on Phillip Island with a few different cars last night.
Scenery was a bit sparse but the the actual track I thought was spot on. The AI also seems to behave very life like, much better than LFS. It just a pity the replay graphics are typical ISI crap. I will give Bathurst a run tonight.
How are the other aussie tracks? any one tried them. I am quite impressed with the V8 mod. Looking forward to the finished version.
I found it very difficult to drive without the speedo and gear indicator ect.
Keep up the great work.
This is making me a very happy little vegemite
Cheers

Cool . and no drummer jokes today
Downloaded Sandown but the games crashes back to the desktop when I start that track. I see there is a "Sandown light fix" to download, But I can never down load it from m4driving.it. Do I need this, or do you think Ive cocked up the the track install. Anyway maybe someone can email it to me @ crankcase@exemail.com.au Its only a small file
EDIT: The download worked at last. Must be a busy server
The completed mod is awesome you blokes
I owe u all beers
Cheers
