Where is everyone?

Post by funkdancer »

Whilst I just had an interesting racing in the Skippy, I would like to do an advanced solstice to follow it up before it gets too late. However, contrary to a few months ago, there's just NO-ONE on. What's the go? I remember jumping on any given night and finding a fair bit of action.

Click this url: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3243/307 ... 834b_o.jpg , for big version of this which was taken at 22:05 today CET+10.

The only series with some action is the legends cup.. am I missing something?

Not much point driving the Mazda unless you can race in the mornings. ie, 6am or 8am... poor turn out at night time.

I'm able to race in the mornings, so I do!

Hm, I couldn't do the 8am, however the 6am might be something to get out of bed for. :)

Ive been way too busy, silly season has hit hard & early this year...

As soon as this new season kicked off i had a bit of time in the Mazda (2 rounds) but got frustrated with copping SR hits in tt's and the lack of racers so ive put it in the garage.
I havnt jumped in the Skip since the new season kicked off either, just finishing off my LFSEA season as im sitting in 3rd overall and thats about as much sim racing time as im able to squeeze in :(

With GTA IV being released tomorrow i doubt iRacing will get another look in this year.
Then theres 3 weeks of Christmas holidays on the Great Ocean Rd.

I have a yearly subscription so ill start my next season in 09 me thinks.

Ok :yikes: it's a 4 wheel flat top and after racing you can chuck your tools in the back and the dog, or wife whatever you prefer. :kangaroo:

But i am still gonna call it a ute :aussie: Yanks can call it what they want

I'm only racing the Mazda and the Truck at the moment, I basically have one race in each on a Saturday morning.

a ute is a sedan with a trey in the back. these things are much bigger than a sedan. we dont call the Ford F150's and the hilux's utes here either. which is essentialy what these are
