Looks awesome, finding it now :yes:

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you finally have enough horsepower.

So I did a 3.46.97 on the Harewood stage. Reinstalled it a couple of days ago and it has taken me a while to come to terms with it. I crash a lot and I blame Dirt, Dirt2, Dirt3 and WRC 1 and 2. This plays nothing like those :)

Very satisfying when you get it right but that is probably due to getting it wrong so often.

Funny you sat that. I installed this again over the weekend and downloaded RSBR2012, never got round to playing it though. rBR is one of the best sims of all time in my opinion. Will have to give it a bash this weekend.

hm...I might load it up again, too ;)
Altho I've had all sorts of trouble getting it to work on windows7 x64 IIRC.

Interesting that you find it harder to get used to - for me it feels very natural. Admittedly, I've never played Dirt/WRC extensively at any point, they just don't feel right to me. :)
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

Im running Win 7 x64 with no issues at all. Needs to be patched to 1.2 to get FFB I think. I checked to see if it would run and it did but no FFB. Was there after patching.

And it is what you get used to. I played a little bit of RBR in the past but not much. Kept crashing :) This time I was determined to go all out from the start. Use manual gears from stage 1 and take it easy, do all the rally school and take my time to learn and enjoy. ala GPL

I played DIRT from start to finish. Still my favourite and spent hours enjoying it. D2 and D3 not so much.

Been having some fun with this

I made up a spreadsheet using the stage records that come with the game and will aim to go "negative". After each stage I tab out of the game, fill in my sheet and move on to the next one. On one I rolled 3 times so I was a bit off the pace :D

found this useful tid bit to allow me in and out of the game
Richard Burns Rally doesn't allow alt+tabbing, so if any window pops up from the background, the game will be minimized to desktop, and you won't be able to go back.
The solution is to switch the game to window mode. Provided you have the FixUp plugin installed, simply edit these two lines:

In RichardBurnsRally.ini:
Fullscreen=false

In FixUp.ini:
fullscreenWindow=19

Fired up ol RBR the other weekend and had a good thrash amongst the trees :)

Chirdonhead (UK) is still easily my favorite stage, here is a nice little 2 wheelin moment.

Any one given this a go?

http://www.racedepartment.com/2012/12/r ... available/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

After their 2010, 2011 & 2012 versions of their mod for Richard Burns Rally, which were extremely successful and popular, it was only logical step that a 2013 version of RSRBR was about to follow.

Anyone got some good settings for G27 with RBR they'd like to pass on ?

I know the wheel set-up can be down to personal taste but having just got a G27 and had a grin infested run with RBR it feels like a little tweak here and there would make it extremely smileworthy. Any hints or help you have to offer would be greatly appreciated.

Running on 900º, standard settings, 100% force 0 everything else.

or 400-450º, as above.

Cheers Wobbles, been running 450 and it feels ok. Not been brave enough to run 900 on anything yet.

It depends on the cars you drive.

Could always Mr VT McRally Driver, what steering lock he uses to make a real feeling.
