Loast my copy of Ted Hawkins' The Next Hundred Years, searched on Google to find no Australian retailers seemed to have it, was going to be costly because of exchange rate to buy from US, no torrents available and then on Saturday, strolled into HMV in Hurstville and they had it.
Glad to get it, fairly obscure performer, but a genius (dead now). I saw him live in Sydney back in the 1990s, he was a long-time busker who had done time and found limited fame at the end of his life. Played sitting on a milk crate, wore one black leather glove, had a great voice and wrote interesting songs.
Anyone else a fan?
