Horse names

Post by thornz »

Right, well myself and a couple oof mates have bought shares in a racehorse. Absolute money pit, but it'll be great fun going to the races, getting shit faced and watching her run. Now we need to come up with a name for her, we dont get the final say, there are other shareholders as well, but we can put forward some names. At the moment we are just brainstorming and coming ip with whatever we can. So, anybody want to put some names forward? We need a mix of funny ones, and some more serious ones I guess. Her breeding is St Petersburgh-Our Jazarea, so if we could find something good combining those it would be good but not essential. So any of you creative ones got any suggestions?

Yeah there are rules for naming horses, cant be more that 17 letters I think, and cant be anything to dodgy, like my mates suggestion, "on your face", so when people are cheerings it on, the will scream, come on your face.

my mate reckoned he was gunna call one "My Face". he didnt care if it won or lost.. he just wanted to hear all the young ladies in their fancy hats at Flemington jumping up and down screaming out 'come on My Face, come on My Face'

Well the horse has been named, and unfortunatley our suggestions didnt get picked, mainly due to there being another syndicate owning 55%, and they were easily able to out vote us. Pretty dissapointed with the name, however it is quite fitting of the horses nature. The name is "Smoochie Girl"
