Fucking weird if you ask me. Some good stuff, but a lot of odd stuff. Weird edits. Odd cut aways.

Ron Dennis yelling at staff and the producers. Moss looking like he doesnt know whats happening. Just, fucking odd.

Its Ron Tauranac in some psychedelic cartoon recount of how Tauranac sold Brabham to Bernie.

As Norbs said, it was a odd watch.

Hows the tooned up Bernie tho.

It was shit, Sir Jack deserves much better. I don't even remember the bonkers cartoon bit, must have purged that from my mind.

Norbs aye Sir Stirling was definitely circling the drain when they filmed that, would not surprise me if it was his last work on camera.

I was wondering how they would handle Gary, was not expecting they'd simply erase him from existance!

To me the whole thing was a DB wankathon with standoffish support from Geoff to flog his new track car. No more, no less. Disrepectful and disgusting really.

That's a great comparison although it did strike me that the sound got better as the performance got worse... :melt:

Not classing this as cool, but it seems the right thread for it.

The only good thing about a COVID test in Adelaide is you get to do this in your own car!

Unreal & that reminds me of a story I got told recently by a friend about his elderly neighbour, who was well into his 90's when he got told about it.
He was trying to be the first to break 100MPH on a Motorcycle with a few mates.
They were so sacred that their guts would pop out that they tied a blanket around their stomachs with rope.
Funny how they thought about things like that back then.
The first officially sanctioned Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) record was set in 1920, when Gene Walker rode an Indian on Daytona Beach at 104.12 mph (167.56 km/h)

I find it funny to look at the land speed records and think that my current daily road car could have comfortably broken the land speed record in 1925, and with the air con on and listening to music :)

It's crazy. My Ninja 1000 would even be breaking a sweat in 2nd gear to beat that 167. Even my big fat 1500cc cruiser I have now does 210kmh with my 120kg fat arse on it.

And it's really not that long ago either really. All happens so fast.

That last corner looked like 3 of my laps overlaid. Wildly different lines and so close at the end.
