GPL still on

Post by vipergod »

Just finished a race in the F2 Lites series and it shows that gpl still rocks 2 servers nearly full, some good racing and some not so good (and thats just me  ) Had a ball did season 32 last time and am going to do all of 33. Just put this here to show you all that there are still races happening with ARSES in it .Any of you guys still interested should give it a go

 GPL IS still strong.

I run in the OEGL and we had 6 new drivers for the new season, our grids were as full as never before  :) (that means we even had some drivers who couldnt run because we had 19 drivers allready in the grid...)

Maybe use the 2004 demo as a starting point?

Theres also a extensive FAQ in it and its patched.

Did you set the readable attributes? and fast indexing?

Fresh install, the all in one patch was all i did. I could understand if i'd modded the crap out of it first. Not to worry, i'll get it going, done it a million times before. :)

I'll try to be there Dion. I just have to re-learn the 67 cars. I've spent too long on 65. It will be good to have an ARSE race again

Then Kyalami in BRM's.

Thanks Blues for hosting and IanG and Dr Pain for supporting
We had FUN was ARSE all the way.

Will try this again soon so i hope others can join in and have blast on the best racing game (sim) ever.

It was fun :) I was smiling for the first 5 laps at the Glen. But the BRM's were heaps of fun though we should have run them at Monaco :D

Bugger, missed it by a day. I have just got back into GPL, although I had been tinkering around with the Tasman carset, but hadn't used the '67s for a long time. Had a run at Spa on the weekend, found it impossible to stay on the road, and then somehow I ended up loading Zeltweg (Osterreichring) back onto my active tracks list and have been having a ball since. That's where I was last night.
Was wondering today if any other ARSEs are still into GPL, and thought "I wonder if Rod's site has a GPL forum?"

I'm keen for Tuesday night action too. :smackbum:

Not that sort though.

I'll probably have to see how I go with a moving target (read wheel) on Tuesday, haven't had time to chase up repairs, and have 2 nephews tomorrow as well as my s-in-law is crook as a dog with the third.

I'll be there on Tuesday night, God willing
