Sorry I didn't hang 'round long tonight. My heart just wasn't into GPL and running the 'Ring didn't appeal to me at all. I'll swing by next Tuesday and see what's going on though.

Well after last nights debacle when I drove like a drunk, because I was umm ........ drunk (sorry Dion) I thought I better redeem myself, and broken Momo or no broken Momo, I went out and blasted a sub 1:23 at Mosport to finally go green there.

And then there were 4.

Well I had an interesting night last night, sorry to hear you broke your accelerator Blues, Dion having a weird wheel reset and somebody having a Painful connection.

My first race at Silver was fine, except there was only 2 of us, me and a hotshoe Lotus pilot who should have blitzed me except he spun off a couple of times and then ran out of fuel on the last lap, as did I but I short shifted my way around. I got down to a 1:29.51 in the race too, which I was happy with.

In the second race at Silver, I copped a reboot twice, the third time I went with basic graphics and Papy carset!!! which provided a nice 'bathtub' style of Brabham. And then it froze again. I don't think this 700mHz AMD is holding up too well anymore. Had fun running with Dion while I could.

Anyway, great fun and hopefully we can get 3 or 4 of us racing at once soon. :)

No matter what I tried I kept getting a client/server mismatch. I've never has this problem before and its not like I'm on a slow connection, its 512/128! I tried the bandwidth patch and did nothing ans the search option on RSC is painfully slow to use so I gave up. I'll try to fix it before next week anyway.

First race of 67's for over 2 years, and at Spa too. Took the Cooper cos i'm scared, ran a 3.23.7, not sure if that's good or bad but got 4th i think behind Dion's new PB. Had to dodge Dion who was too busy typing 'so this is pole' and forgot to watch the start LOL

Had a damn tough race with Blues up my arse until i over cooked under brakes on about lap 3 or 4 and got the rear out, spun, took Blues with me, and then it was pretty much all over for me. Had a blast though, forgot how much concentration you need in those 67's.

LOL, me too.

But I won't be doing it - those suckers are just too hard to drive now. I like to relax with the cars in LFS and err.. something else. ;) It's good not having to concentrate just to go in a straight line. :D
