Teeth Breaking...

Post by SE1Z »

Ummm... Over the last 12months or so, my teeth (mainly molars) have started breaking off... kinda hard to explain, but sometimes when I eat, It feels like sand in my mouth... My teeth are crumbling...

I just spat out a 'corner' of my wisdom tooth, not huge... but big enough to worry about...
And I can crumble it (to a point) almost like chalk!

mannnnnn.... i'm PETRIFIED of dentists :(
(probably the reason my teeth are falling apart) - I havent seen a dentist in over 5 years...

Anyone know a good/cheap dentist in Sydney...
I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go...

*cries*

DO IT.

I remember the same thing with one of my molar breaking apart many years ago. I needed a root canal and then a massive filling. I was so glad I got it done, although it cost a crap load. I still need to go back and get it capped at some point. I left my broken tooth for a while before doing anything about it - I had massive pain in it which kept me up every night - I wish I had just gone to see the dentist earlier.

Careful with biting bullets, they're hard :)

I know my dentist here in hornsby is good, but he's not cheap. His name is Sonny Wong.
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

I had, I thought, a similar problem a few months back. Turns out the bit of "tooth" I thought broke off, was actually plaque LMAO! Boy was I embarrassed. I was politely told not to leave it so long between checkups :)

Rest assured I did the same, for years (good 10 years after highscool).
Then finally for some reason I went for a check, and I needed 5 fillings and a pulling - it was un-saveable.
Since then I go yearly. I do not want to lose all of them prematurely.
But some of us have better teeth than others, so it may work for some of you guys. Have faith - if not teeth :D
