I can't see any of ysu's gifs...

shame. they're good!
They're not strictly gifs, though. They are html5 videos with webm extension.
Eg the latest one is here - see if the link works for you.

The phpBB forum converts these to playable items - it works in all major modern browsers as far as i know. But then again...
What's your browser? Maybe something is switched off in it?

I can't see them either...but if you quote the post you can get the link and that works fine.

So I suspect it's a forum issue rather than a browser issue.

Whack them into URL codes YSU and then people can just click them.

ah, they've now disappeared for me as well - I suspect it's not the browser, it's the bloody imgur doing this.

If you click the link it's no longer the pure video feed, but the stupid imgur page with embedded video.
Suck my toes, imgur. I've not seen this because they were cached.

I can see them with the link in a separate tab; and then after i view them via a webpage I can see them in ysu's posts until then next refresh.

Yeah it's imgur's doing I'm pretty sure.

Not showing up in forum, but I use a hover zoom, and no need for loading them up in other tabs.

I've got a forum update in the pipeline. Just a case of finding time to do it. That might fix it.

simple posting still does not work, because the forum does not convert webm extension, and the proper URL for the actual thing is this:


The gifv extension displays the whole page on imgur.

Altho the forum update might indeed help. Supposedly you can embed with a code like this of which the important part is that now it needs to be converted into a script. Imgur wants to be in control.
