Found a decent way to generate some coin tonight. :)

The special events pay out quite well but its a pitty its only once. Ive done most of them now so I went in search of some A-Spec races that had a decent prize purse.

If you have the extreme series unlocked you can run the first "Schwarzwald League B" round at level 21.
There is a Nurburgring Nordscheliefe single lap race in a german car (im using my SLS Merceded) which pays out $59,000 for a win. I find any race around Nurby fun and at 7-8mins a race I racked up a few 100k quickly and now have my first Million :bigthumb:

Slowly on the road to 5.5 Mil and buying my Mazda 787B which I want to use in the expert 'GT All Stars' series.

Anyone eles know of any A-Spec events that pay out? At some stage ill need 20 mil to complete the classic lemans series and along with it completing the "Expert Series" and another 12.5 mil for the F1 races in the extreme series :fall:

ill give everyone a quick heads up, and suggest you do the NASCAR school before you try the NASCAR series in the extreme events, i made the mistake of buying a nascar before getting all golds in the school events, and being given a ticket for one!

Worst thing is that i cant sell either of them! :(

AWESOME! Cheers GT.

Thanks for the tip Grass, ive been close to buying the Nascar on a few occasions now. Last night i did all the Nascar events in gold except the last 2 lap sprint home around Daytona. I keep finishing 3rd but ill nab the win soon enough. Ill have to if there is a free Nascar at stake :)

Expert series, turbo race around High Speed Ring.

With my Veyron I finish the race in about 3mins and earn $36,000. So if you do it twice, that's 72,000 in 6 mins or do it 4 times and it's 144,000 for 12 mins effort.

What tier is that in GT. I just had a quick look and the only thing close to the 'American Series' descprition is in the extreme series in which you need to be level 23 for...

Thanks Rots, might have to give that a go tonight in my brand new Veyron :D

So what do you guys reckon was the idea? you should do and re-do races again and again to get enough money to buy a car to do a certain race ?
It seems a rather stupid concept for me.

Why don't you get money for the online races instead?
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

I agree YSU. Its a hell of a grind when you are above level 20...

Im hanging for the online races to pay out. Im pretty sure it was in prologue.

Its also stupid that online racing doesn't count to your total distance driven in the game. The overall odometer only counts for A-Spec events. I dont get that.

omg, have you never played GT before? That's what you do in all of them lol.

The amount of times I did Sunday cup or whatever it was in GT3 to get my supra was something shocking. :D

Actually no, this is my first. And It's likely that I'll never reach the top if that's what it takes. I bought it to have fun, not to have a rather menial, repetitive work at hand.
At least the online part should keep me in the fun zone for a while.
On a sidenote; Test Drive Unlimited 2 may take over, soon ;)

Ahh well that explains it, apologies.

Generally with GT, once you have gotten the initial grind and a car that will basically win most events, you then win any car you need for the 'special events' along with copious amounts of prize money.

Found another race that pays well... but you need to be level 22.

Extreme Series; European Championship; Deep Forest

With my 877hp Audi R8 Chrome Line I finish the race it in about 6:15 and win $83,000!

I could use the Veyron, but I like the R8 as it handles nice.

Ive just done the NASCAR series a few times now and on average it takes 30 mins to do all 5 races but it pays out $456,000 :)
$228,000 for 1st in all 5 races and then another $228,000 for the series bonus.

Found that one as well now im Lv23 but man do you need a quick yank tank to be competitive.
