For anyone having difficulty finding the Formula GT car... try this...
"Enter the license tests.
Select B1 test. Keep using the next test icon until you reach B5.
Now exit the tests. You have 30 new cars in your used car lot.
If the Formula isn't in there, repeat the above"
From quick search at GTP.

c.j there is a much easier way... just visit the new Online Collectors Car shop thingy as it has one in stock for purchase.
Edit: Nevermind, just realised you don't have online access. bummer dude!

I'll take my PS3 to my mates house tomorrow to do a few things, I need to update Assasins Creed Brotherhood, Ruse and buy some cars on GT5. I have about 15 million in coinage but nothing really to spend it on at the moment.
Unlocked the Endurance events last night, haven't started one yet though. Was aiming for some extra coin to buy one of the old classic race cars for my b-spec'ers to complete the race against that bastard Toyota 7 thing.

You have reached B-Spec Level 35.
You win the following prize:
Red Bull X2010 S.Vettel gift car ticket.
I wasn't expecting that.

I can't get my lads to win the Level 21 races... Like the wind and Nascar... they keep hitting the brakes on corners you don't need to slow down on!

Turn the brakes to 0 for the roadies & lots of downforce.
My settings for Daytona or very close to.......I can't double check right now as my B-spec drivers are doing an endurance race but I wrote these settings down as I was experimenting with settings from GT Planet.
Aero 33 & 55
Gears 380 kph
Ride Height 0 & -15 ( I think.....this is the only one I'm not 100% sure about but I didn't lower it much at all. )
Springs 18.5 & 19
Dampers 9 & 10
..........4 & 4
Rollbars 6 & 7
Camber 0 & 0
Toe 0.0 & 0.02 ( not 0.2)
I used these settings & sat the whole race hitting the increase pace button winning by 4 seconds.
Edit: just checked my Daytona car setup & it is exactly as written.

I have upgraded one of my Nissan Skylines.... now has about 850bhp... and it can beat GTR cars.... but it is crap in the corners! How can I tweak it to go around corners?

I haven't really played that much with setup but put on the softest tyres you can for starters. Buy the 20K suspension upgrade & lower it a little. Generally I use around -2.0 camber front & -1.0 rear.
I cannot work out why theres a level 35 race and the next race is level 40, other than to make you race a lot more to get enough credits. I'm annoyed because I only press the X button a few times every 24hrs.
Interesting article - as an iRacer, those sales numbers are just nuts!
not compared to the rest of the Gran turismo's it isn't, as the article points out
I think the shit AI and Poor Standard cars and the fact it feels like it hasnt been updated since GT4 apart from graphics contributed to its poor sales

Yea they definately left me feeling short changed compared to say what Forza brought to the genre out of the box.
It just didn't feel like I had 6 years worth of development in my hands. That said, I haven't raced online yet and there is a fair bit for me to do still, however I just get more of a kick from photomode than actually racing at the moment.
