R.I.P Sir Bobby Robson

Sir Bobby Robson, one of the true greats of the world game, has passed away, aged 76.

I thought it worth getting in to the ARSE record that this fantastic man has passed, leaving a legacy for the game he loved unsurpassed by any modern participant in the beautiful game. Sir Bobby died yesterday morning (U.K. time) as a result of losing his fight with a fifth bout with cancer. He is a great man who will be missed by many, especially anyone with even an ounce of Geordie blood in their veins.

R.I.P. Sir Bobby, your legend will always live on.
- When trouble arises and things look bad, there is always one individual who perceives a solution and is willing to take command. Very often, that individual is crazy.
- If youre paddling upstream in a canoe and a wheel falls off, how many pancakes fit in a doghouse? None! Icecream doesn't have bones!!!

Indeed, RIP.

My brother operated on one of his lung tumors a few years back.

He got all 3 of my nephews a Newcastle United kit and sent them a signed football by the whole team.

A true gentleman.
